Operations Service Desk
Available 24x7x365 for systems monitoring, opening and managing trouble tickets, service requests, and patch and change management scheduling.
Systems Monitoring
Our Operations Service Desk uses remote monitoring technology to keep an eye on IT infrastructure 24x7x365 and proactively identify issues before they become a problem. The service desk monitors and alerts on a variety of parameters and thresholds, then escalates back to the client or REALIGN for remediation depending on SLA.
Business Service Management
Aligns IT services and support with critical business applications such as ERP, e-mail, CRM, eCommerce, Web and VoIP. We can give the LOB manager, application manager or IT support team not only server availability information, but we can also provide them with performance information about all of the technology elements that support the application, from communications and networking to storage and server availability. When applications encounter performance issues due to their supporting infrastructure, it’s easier to quickly identify and resolve the problem that is causing the slowdown of critical business applications.
Systems Management
Keeps the systems up-to-date with the latest fixes and patches. Updates are applied remotely, helping to ensure the highest availability of critical infrastructure systems. With remote monitoring and management of your on-premise technology, REALIGN engineers can perform most server management functions, except for those few activities that require a person to physically touch the systems. In those cases, your on-site staff can be utilized to assist with hands-on requirements.
Systems Support
Whether it is for remediation of service alerts from our monitoring service or responses to calls made to the help desk, client services engineers can provide timely responses to IT support needs to augment the capabilities of your current staff or even, depending on SLA, eliminate the challenges associated with having to hire additional technical employees. Certified service engineers can cover the spectrum of infrastructure technology including industry-standard servers, desktops, operating systems, storage, and networks.

What is Hosted PBX & VoIP?
Hosted PBX (Private Branch Exchange) is the modern version of the traditional telephone closet. The new hosted, or “cloud,” model puts the brains of your phone closet into professionally maintained data centers, helping businesses like yours to transform their communications and improve productivity—without the need to purchase expensive, complex, depreciating phone system software and hardware. Your service providers manage and monitor your system 24×7, allowing you to focus on work.
VoIP refers to phone services that are accessible through a high quality broadband connection. VoIP is typically more cost effective and scalable than traditional alternatives. With both Hosted PBX and VoIP, you and your team can work from the office, home, or on the road, or through your smartphone, all while utilizing your company’s communications solution to help maintain and uplift your image and brand.
As a successful business, you’re constantly searching for the next big thing. Whether you’re a small business looking for the flexibility and cost savings of VoIP, or a mid-sized company looking for business continuity and flexible calling plan options, we’ll help you save up to 40% over your traditional telephone services.
Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is becoming the common signaling standard for your real-time communications that utilize VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). SIP enables you to seamlessly connect with your existing premise-based phone systems using our carrier class voice network.
We’ll provide you with as many SIP Trunk groups as you need, with an unlimited number of pre-paid call paths. Also, you’ll have the ability to bust up to ten additional call paths on demand for improved capacity planning.
What is SIP Trunking?
SIP Trunking refers to the use of VoIP to connect your premise based phone system to the Internet. A broadband or Internet connection replaces traditional, plain-old-telephone (POTs) or Primary Rate Interface (PRI) lines, allowing your organization to communicate more efficiently with better scalability. SIP Trunking may be utilized with virtually any PBX system, including modern IP based phone systems or older styled analog systems. The older systems may require an integrated access device (IAD) to bridge the SIP connection to your PBX. Either way, SIP Trunking will bridge your company to the modern communications cloud, helping connect all office and mobile users together.
Benefits of Enhanced SIP Trunking with Realign
Burstability: The ability to burst above the number of pre-paid trunks or call paths on demand, automatically.
Control: As a customer, you’ll be able to make changes to the platform as you need them, including scalability, API integration, an intuitive UI, and our future-proofed platform.
Advanced Call Routing: Enables customers with advanced routing capabilities including call forwarding, and call status (away, busy, unreachable, etc.).
Multi-office Trunking and Business Continuity: Aggregate your SIP Trunks to improve business continuity between office and leverage the savings that comes with pooling and centralizing your communication needs at the enterprise level. We’ll even provide you with improved disaster recovery options so you can sleep soundly in the event of a shutdown or natural disaster.
Disadvantages of Legacy Phone Systems
Legacy phone systems have long been the king of the inner office telecommunications space, but the increasing ease of hosted PBX, as well as the cost savings and scalability features that follow, is reshaping the market in a big way.
Costly Wiring: Traditional Legacy systems require complicated hard-wiring for each phone in your office, meaning your utilizing you’re phone people more often for miniscule tasks.
Costly Upgrades: Technology is constantly changing and innovating, so why stunt
your organization’s growth? Legacy systems require replacing
the entire switch/server whenever you need a feature added.
Costly Expansion: Adding new employees or additional telephone lines requires new hardware, and that requires more time and money. And if you expand to a new office, all of your current hardware must be consistent across (no wiggle room for hardware, software, wiring, or phones).
Costly Maintenance: The burden of locating, protecting, maintaining, and servicing hardware is a costly endeavor—one that gets more difficult as your servers and switches increase.
Advantages of Hosted PBX
Noticing a consistent theme? Cost. Traditional Legacy systems cost more up front, and over time because users are reliant on their current phone system hardware. But, with hosted PBX and VoIP, you get a future-proofed phone system that continuously updates to provide an unmatched user experience.
Smaller Investment Upfront: With hosted PBX, you don’t need to purchase costly configurations—there’s no system to purchase, so there’s less money lost upfront.
Smaller Investment Over Time: You’ll retain more revenue each month, making hosted PBX a long-term cost saver.
Flexibility: Hosted PBX is easily upgradeable, helping to expand your business communications without the need for constant technical support or rewiring.
Mobility: Hosted PBX provides a solution for your employees who can now work from anywhere, whether they’re on their cell phones at home, or soft phones on their work computers.
